PWR 5.7 project dyno results are in...

Dyno results are in. I overlayed them with my 5.7 pull with LT's catless mids, exhaust, cai, and tune with as well as a bone stock SRT8 from the same dyno just for comparison sake. Hitting the track Friday night!!!!

Intake manifold is still stock as is the TB. Will be installing ported intake and 100mm TB within the next 2 weeks and hope to see another 20rwhp/20rwtq.

Also, keep in mind that this is the 05-08 5.7, not the 09-10.

would probably also be good to note that my stall flashes to 4200. So im pretty close to peak tq at lauch and right on it after the shift. Should be a good running set up cant wait to see the results.

Just some small updates to let people know whats going on.

First of all if it wasn't for bad luck I wouldn't have any at all.

3 weeks, 3 different track, 2 passes because of rain

First at teh shindig, DA was around 3500 or so. Just installed mopar TCM ran 13.0 @105 on 2.05 60' - forgot and left TC on 60' was horrible, car shifted at 6k 2-3 out of my powerband boged, only gained 19 mph last 1/8th. This car really needs 6400-6500 shifts.

2nd week, we showed up to the track, rain started pouring, we left and drove 2 1/2 hours back home

3rd week, went to challenger fest, made some changed to the car a few days before. 90mm TB belt modification to run water pump only, installed a 100 shot of juice, a small amount of weight reductions

didn't touch the tune, didn't even think about it. was gonna run 110 and thought timing for be fine for the 100 shot. glad i had the a/f guage hooked up this time. DA was 3200 Do my burn out get to the line go. car feels like crap off the line, i know its a crap run so just watch the a/f... absolute lowerst it hit the entire run was 13.2 mostly 13.5-13.7, thought wtf it shouldn't pop so just stayed in it to see how it went. Wasn't spraying btw, i would never have stayed in it if i was. ended up being 13.0 @110 with a 2.05 60' yet again. This time i gained 23.5 mph last 1/8 so shift points are working better, no telling how much timing was being pulled from running so lean, I know my water temp went from 140 at the lights - 230 crossing the line, so it was burning HOT.

get back gonna add around 10% everywhere see where im at, rain starts falling hard and the shut down. Get back to the room and me and Andy sit there arguing about why it fell on its face on the 60' so bad even if it is running lean. so I go grab the camera watch the video and sure enough i was right. car left the line in 2nd ( i guess it didnt shift back to 1 after the burn out? not sure what was up tbh)

but anyway, lots os small mishaps that could have been avoided if i had the time to get the car strait before we go to the track, Work has been busy and I have been busting balls getting it as far as its got already. next week or two im gonna get this tune strait and to some more test n tunes and hopefully it will run the numbers i know it can.

from the 110 trap speed after launching in 2nd and probably having 15* of timing in 3200' Its deffinatly got the power to go deep in the 11's n/a and low 10's on the bottle when i get the fuel system and drivetrain in order, just my opinions though

Sorry about the misfortunes.. You really need to work on that cooling issue.. 250/260* and you'll loose a valve seat..

Its not driven anymore. the ride home from the shindig and the 1k + miles when we got back it never got over 190*

Thinking it was just a left over air pocket. The heating issue at the track was from the detonation

Must have been some serious detonation. Good thing you didnt spray DOH!
