Talking First time out with 2007 "Wicked" Super Bee, 427 of 1000, new personal best of 12.217

Heck, I figure I should post this in the track section... I've been trying to get my Bee to the track for six months now, finally did it yesterday.

Mods are Corsa cat back (stock mids and cats and headers) Mopar CAI, Diablo tune and uh, er, that's it? Might have a Tstat, not really sure, I need to check that. Oh and a catch can. Ran with M&H skinnies on the steel rims with spacers and Hoosier DRs. No other mods. Period.

    Very first run was a 12.297 @ 117.19

At that, Hemiwagn came over and said, OK, pull the seats.. I hesitated, he said, you have the car set up, why not do it? As I was considering it, he got out the tools and started removing the back seats... OK... May as well... LOL!

Second run, my fastest time slip for the day, only 25 minutes later. Lots more 12.2's after, but not quite enough to beat this one of 12.217 @ 117.74.

Putting the drag radials and skinnies on, while letting the engine cool after the hour and a half long drive to the track...

Of course, since this was the first time out with this car, anything I ran would be a new personal best... LOL!

The car hasn't even hit 6,000 miles yet.
    12.217 @ 117 mph on a stock motor

    My Station Wagon was faster...

Yeah, I'm not sure which is the greater accomplishment, getting the time, or getting it there!

Yeah, how can you not like two SRT8's? Especially when they're both quick.

Thanks Erik, Yeah I want race weights too!!! Trunk was empty other than the liner on the sides/top, only the driver's seat, but the rest of the interior was complete.

Yeah, I wish... Even if it was a 13 second car, it's the garage queen, so I would have kept it. But it sure has earned it's keep!
