    beeping sound??????

VERY wierd sound coming from my car after every stop, only whe the car has been driving for a half hour or so.. When i first heard it i looked at my front wheel and notice there was a loose lug, tightened it up and was coolio.. then today and yesterday ive been doing a bit of driving, and it started again.. it sounds like a car alarm being setting like a "beep=beep" but VERY VERY LOW- if the radio is on i cant hear it, but once ihear it i cant get it off my mind, tryinh to figure it out.. it happens IMMEDIATELY after braking, sometime it will do it when going into reverse..

Anyone have any ideas??? also notice that when I am driving in stop and go traffic, i get a click after hitting the brake, feels like the click is tight under my seat...

OK -So I am definitely not crazy with this sound... stioll happening..
but this morning- i noticed something else with it..

go in reverse it makes the sound, then go back into drive it does it again...

could it be a brake issue?? tranny issue? diff issue???

You said you found a loose wheel lug nut - correct? If so I'd be taking the wheel off and checking the mounting holes to see if they are worn, also retorque all the other wheels and if you find any loose take those off too and inspect. If it has a warranty on it take it in.

By chance were the wheels off at some time recently - if so I'd be going back to who did it and having them check everything over at thier cost and repair/replace anything that is not normal.
