I only show my bird in traffic. and yes I still have the video. I just hae to figure out how to down grade it. My video camera records in 1080i and it's a HUGE FILE!!!!
you better.. because it sucks doing it in a garage. BTW you have to give me a heads up too to make sure the garage space is ready plus the tools that are needed.
this is me and Jshep ALL DAY on our back :modding: plus a lot of selective adjectives
how do you launch? i am obviously launching like crap. i really wish i could be at navasota. uncle sam has "better" plans for me in the idea of a drill weekend
ouch i feel the burn. traffic is not funny especially in our cars. i hope u joking when you say you moving closer. you must love the sound of top fuel dragsters going down the strip
viper,
are you hammering the throttle when the light changes?
some of the guys cutting really quick times are stalling to about 1500,
taking foot off the brake and rolling a couple feet,
then rolling into the throttle, rather than slamming it.
wish i had more practice to say what works best for me
i am flooring it, its so hard to stay off it off the line when the other guy reacted b4 u and looks like he is leaving. i seriously need practice. if only i could have made it to navasota. would have been a good chance to practice
if you stall the car up for too *long* it will start to pull timing.
you want to hang on the brake, and as soon as youre opponent stages (or you stage, whichever is second) you want to immediately get your revs to where you want to launch from.
if you beat the opponent to the line and stall up and hold it for 20 seconds, when you launch it will be like a pig because of the timing the engine begins to pull
