Bob lil help 9db or 11db kit on a 5.7

    Hey Bob
So I am looking to get rid of the resos so which kit would you
    recommend for a 2007 300c 5.7 hemi the 9db kit or the 11db
kit. I am looking to get a nice loud sound but without the
dreaded drone the wife thing if possible. Which way would you
    recommend.
    Thanks

I've got the 7db kit. I think it's the way to go if you're looking to keep it wife friendly. The 9db might also be safe. If you have the daytona style muffler with the sharp tips I'd suggest the 7db for sure. I have the three pass muffler with the rolled tips and I think the 11db would for sure not pass the wife test.

If you do not want drone - do not get the 11db. I have and I love it. It gives that burble when you let off the gas while in gear.

The 5db kit would be good for wife apeal

Hey Bob I have the 4db kit with flowmaster super44s and was wondering if there is a way to make it a little louder without changing the whole kit

I have the 9db kit. It's relatively quiet on idle (but still gives a nice "rumble"), Has some drone on acceleration at about 1500-2000 RPM. I for one got used to it pretty quick and doesn't really bother me - I had a V6 monte carlo that came with who knows what type of exhaust and it was much louder/annoying. It has a pretty good growl when you step on it - loud enough to please and let'em know you got a hemi, but not so thunderous that it'll drive you nuts and attract the po-po's attention .
