    feedback on 3.5 dual conversion

ok folks... I almost hate asking this question because I realize, like most things in life, that everyone has different tastes. I am debating on which set of Blastin Bobs to go with and I'm hoping people can provide some feedback on their experiences. I don't want the juice can Chevy Sunfire sound and i know I don't have a V8 so I can't expect the sound of one but I do want the look of duals and a little grunt is a good thing. I am considering the 10db resonator eliminator kit as well as the kit with resonators. Can those of you with one of these packages provide me with some feedback and perhaps a comparison to other vehicles... ie.. as loud as a ??? or not as loud as a ??? or even some information like... If I'm on the highway driving the posted speed limit I can't hear the engine at all... or can't hear it when the stereo is on low... or when I'm driving 30mph I can or can't hear it... Sorry if this is a bizarre way of phrasing this question!!

    Cheers and thanks!!!

i had the 10db kit on my 3.5 Mag and i love it, not too loud not too quiet. I wanted to get it louder with even more of a rumble so i added the 18inch Magnaflow muffler to replace the suitcase muffler (blastin bobs sells those to) and now its even more awesome, i have had comments from other Lx V8 owners telling me at idle it could pass for a V8, it is a little louder in the car whilst driving which took a little getting used too but with the windows up its not bad at all. My problem is that i love the sound so much i cant keep my foot out of the throttle.

I made a video clip of it not the best quality but it will kinda give you the idea.

you had me up until you mentioned replacing the suitcase muffler... doesn't the kit replace the muffler entirely with two straight pipes and no resignator?

No, it starts behind the stock muffler.

You have a single line untill after the one muffler then you have 2 tailpipes from there. Not a true duel exhaust but it sounds better.
