Ontario: BUY SELL TRADE.

After looking through a few club sections I noticed some have their own BUY/SELL stickies so I thought I'd set one up in the Ontario section.
We also see lots of "Prefer not to ship" sales, so this might help those individuals as well.
It also gives locals a chance to "help out a local brother/sister" ;)
This by no means suggests not posting in the For Sale Section.
Same rules apply as in the For Sale section, post an asking price.
Also, if you don't have your location in your profile, ADD it to the thread you are posting. Ontario is a big place.
What do you think?
Good idea?
Redundant?

Firstly, thanks all for the positive feedback.

OK Paul, you talked me into it.
I'll sell it to you, including a complete Go Mango Daytona for $15,000 no $19,000 no $25,000 Naw, final price $30,000.
:Na_Na_Na_Na:
Are ya nuts enough to buy the hood now? ;)

Quincy, there is about a half dozen (I didn't actually count) other sections with their own For Sale section, do you check everyone everyday? I don't, I check the Parts for Sale and the Canada Parts for Sale sections, while more recently I'm watching the SoCal Parts for sale, as I'm heading there in a couple of weeks.
This gives locals an opportunity to buy and sell locally, no...ok, less chance of worrying about shipping.

And an ocean liner of that **** you're smoking, with it?

No trades, it's going for cash when it goes... I have to decide how much of the parts I'm ripping out, 'cause lord knows no one will give me anything for them in the car.

I have a 2000 Neon 5 speed, white, 340k with refurbished head, new head gasket, new high end clutch, new rear wheel bearing. Car needs little to certify, emergency brake needs something, not sure. Think it needs a horn relay. It does have a rear main seal leak, I can fix it and sell it certified and e-tested for 2200, or as is for 1500. I'm in Niagara Falls, names Zach.

Paul, it's the reputation of the PRP that I'm talking about, shoot first....and second...then ask questions
I know a few of the local boys in blue, and have had great experiences with PRP on most occasions, (I HATED when they ticketed me for speeding when I wasn't even doing the limit) like when I gave them a call, on the day off, and asked them if they could have a Charger escort us to the Canada Day car show a few years ago, and they showed up, all for free too. Most cops that badmouth them are usually ones that applied but couldn't make the grade up here in the almost big city.

Curious - has anyone ever considered a raffle for say larger more expensive items, or is that a no-no, violates laws etc etc ... I'm thinking somewere in the neighbourhood of maybe $20-25 per ticket, no more than a hundered tickets which would give you decent odds and a minimal outlay ... ???

I think some poeple have tried that in the US and as far as I remember It did not work out very well.
