I just ordered my first nitrous kit though ZEX. It should arrive in two weeks the black out bottles are on back order. I purchased single stage wet kit for mopar, bottle heater, purge kit, blow down kit and pressure gauge. After reading one of your posts I will also get a inline filter that picture I saw don't want that in my system. Going to try off the WOT for now and get the window switch later. I have a 2015 challenger Scat pack A8 the mufflers are cut out and I have the new Micky Thompson drag radials which I love so far. It's been cold in Michigan to really try them out. I have a few questions hope I can get some input from somebody.

1. Spark plugs??? Talked with ZEX and he told me I need to run 2 degree cooler plugs and I can spray a 100 shot all day at it. He also said I didn't need a tune unless I go over a 100 shot. My friend currently runs a ZEX kit with a 100 shot no tune and stock plugs and hasn't had an issue. But I don't want to blow it up. I have read about the Brisk plugs but not sure what type or part number to order.
2. I drive 40 minutes to my favorite weekend hang out spot and asked my friend about leaving the nitrous bottle valve open from when I leave the house till I get home. He said not to leave the valve open only open when I'm going to use it. He said his bottle empties out when he leaves it open any truth to that or does he have a major leak some where??

i plan on getting a tuner later this year but right now for the 2015's they are a little pricey.

thanks

If you contact Nitrous Outlet they will answer you questions. I have Brisk rr14s plugs which are 2 steps colder than the stock plugs in my 6.1, I don't know if the same goes for you or not. Your friend has a leak. I only put the my bottle in the car when I go to the track, but I've forgot to turn it off until the next day without issue. If you are going to use it on the street you might want to look into a remote bottle opener. I'm really new to n2o myself, hoping for some clean passes this year with a 150 shot.

Before tuning was available for the hemis, we gapped the plugs to .35 ran 1 or 2 range colder and ran the best gas available: 93 or better. Never spray below 2800-3000 rpm. Drag radials will be needed for a good launch, even then track prep is very important.

Don't know if anybody's pointed it out, but the banner link in your sig is missing.
