The air temp is a big factor in how much power the car makes. If I can keep the intercooler cold and the engine temp cool it really makes some serious power. The track was hooking very good. I had no tire spin. And don't let the newbee status fool you, I have been drag racing for over 30 years and know how to get the most from a car. I also only weigh 130 lbs. The car had 3/8 tank of gas. Three weeks ago the fastest I could get was 12.006 into a head wind. This time I also took the spare and jack out of the trunk. In Virginia the temps were in the 90's and I was running 12.5's to 12.7's when the car got hot.
hope this helps,
John G.
