    "SRT Powered" emblem

Hello Gang, New to the forum!

Can anyone tell me how to get in touch with Bryan Causer for the "SRT Powered" metal emblem. I emailed them from the website and got one response that they were available and could purchase, but didn't tell me HOW to purchase. I have since sent 2 emails but cant get anyone to respond. Emblem looks great and would like to get my hands on one.

    Thanks,
    Paul

That's Bryan for you. His customer service skills are lacking. Maybe try his Facebook.

I have been to the website, where they don't offer them there ( that I can find ). I have sent numerous emails to the person who handles customer service, but still no answers. Don't know what to do at this point.

    Thanks

I don't like the fact that they don't lie flat on the trunk and the adhesive isn't on the whole emblem. Seems like it could be pulled off easily and accumulate dirt and wax behind it
8's N/A? Been there done that

I've thought about buying the front Scat Pack grille badge, trimming and sanding off the pegs and notches on the back, and applying 2-sided 3M tape to attach on the rear. Does anyone know if this has been done before? Pics if so?

That looks really good man. IMO, the SRT powered badge is a little bit like up-badging so I like this a lot better. Good job. It should have come from the factory like this! Can you tell us what you did to make it work? Thanks

Looks great! That's exactly what I was envisioning. Walk us through how you did it? Lots of people will want to know

I actually ordered the SRT Powered one and the grille emblem and figured I would test fit them and decide. I wish I took pictures but I'll do my best to describe. I used a dremel tool for most of the changes, but a belt sander would work also. The first thing you need to do is cutoff the two pegs on the back that would normally go through the grill. I used a cutoff wheel on the dremel. The next issue is the top half of the bee is much deeper then the back of the square scat pack section. I used painters tape to create a straight line from the back of the scat pack section over the bee wings. I then took a dremel sanding bit and grinded down the back of the bee logo to the tape line so the back of the emblem was flush all the way across. The last thing you have to do is straightening the emblem some. It has a curve to it that is greater than the curve of the trunk. I used a wood clamp and clamped it in the center gently while running a hairdryer over it until I had it clamped totally flat. I left it clamped for a couple days and when I removed the clamp it was still curved a little but was pretty close to the curve of the trunk. I then covered the back in double sided tape and put it on. I held it for a while in the center where the curve of the emblem wasn't touching and it eventually stayed with no gap.

lol I just did the same thing today. Didn't care for anything else available and really wanted to match the front. Not perfect but happy. My pull off down the right road and to some fine tuning but happy right now.
