I need some help with this lol. My best so far is 5.8 with Mickey Thompson 305 street tires in the back. I live around Boston and there's very rarely open road where I can try 0-60. Of the few times I've tried I can't get below 5.8. If I punch the gas right off the line the tires break loose and spin. Any tips or pointers? Very unexperienced lol.

5.8? Did you take a nap? Maybe let off the gas a little when you see the giant cloud of smoke? I'm pretty sure you could easily top that time by just flooring it from a dead stop with traction control on. Make sure you have it in sport mode also, of course

Everyone needs to put their car and tires for their 0-60 times so we know what kinda apple or orange we're looking at.

I've tried a bunch but can't get past 4.8 on stock tires in my SP (sport mode.) Haven't tried launch control yet. Doesn't seem to matter if I'm modulating the throttle to control wheelspin or just flooring it.

Agree on the equipment. Add to that 6 or 8 speed.

YES!!! My 2016 RT Road and Track hit sub 5's today!! Full tank of gas too. I will say that the air was GREAT which made up for the wheel spin off the line. Regardless I am happy with 4.9 with a 5.7 with only a Catback!!

Still got the crappy stock 245 RSA2s. They provide inadequate traction to say the least. I spun the tires most of my run (through 35-40 anyway) but it wasn't out of control like most of the time. I actually had better traction with my 225/60/18 snow tires. I'll eventually upgrade to 255's on the stock rims but I really need new wheels and 275s. The Scat Pack guys have to be all over the place with the 245 RSA2s if I am having trouble. First gear with the 3.07s and 8 speed 5.7L combo redlines at 30 MPH so it instant torching of the tires if you give it any throttle. makes me think driving a Scat Pack would be scary as H@LL the first couple times getting on it because you are thinking you are going to bite and go and all you really do is go sideways : )

4.9 is pretty nice with the 5.7. I can't do better than 4.8 right now in a SP and stock 245s, probably the coolest it's been is 75 deg when I've tried but it's wheel spin city even with throttle modulation. The car feels flighty too when floored and lunging...you're right, you basically gotta grab the bull and hold on
