I despise overly hot weather, too. But if we are able to hold the gathering at the fairgrounds in Perry, the building we and our cars will be in is climate controlled. Plenty of A/C to go around!

Actually, it makes sense. South Florida experiences tropical weather patterns when means it rarely gets above 88-89°F in the summertime. You will get a thundershowever every day at 3:30pm in the afternoon, though, so you pay for the lower temps.

On the other hand, in northern Florida and southern Georgia, you will get summertime temps up above 100°F at least a few days during the season and it'll nearly always be above the 90°F mark.

Things have sure changed in 8 years then. I remeber being there and having the temps up in the mid to high 90's with 95% humidity, but there is that nice ocean breeze and mid day shower, as well. I am originally from FL, and have lived all over the state. It is hot all over down that way during the summer, so either way it will be hot.

If we are outside and its hot. i'll just stay in my car with the AC and put my cell phone number in the window. if you want to talk give me a call. I would just let people in but i don't want all the dirt tracked in and out of the car That still counts as participating ... doesn't it?

This Florida boy is originally from Chicago, and I still hate hot sticky weather.

Worked too many years in a cold computer room.............................

Moved to Florida for the cheaper living.

Only reason I say maybe is that is the same time frame the my family will be able to have its last vacation together before I graduate from college. Otherwise I am in for sure.

Magnum's website (this really needs updated or I need to buy some stuff so it forces me to update it)

I only said maybe because it is so far in advance and I would be driving from the Milwaukee area. I really want to go... Im planning on going, its marked on my calendar, but maybe because of the "who knows what could happen by then" factor. And the girlfriend said she is game to go so I am defiently gonna try to make it.
