Let's see... Where to begin....?? OH! I KNOW! Waaaaaay back when I was looking to buy a Magnum.

Car Purchase:
Fax what I'm looking for (options, color, etc etc.) Get a call. Talk $$...go to the dealer location and suddenly we are talking 5 FIVE THOUSAND more!
Me: "Wait a minute! We JUST talked on the phone about $____.00"
Salesman: "Who did? It wasn't me!"
Me: "Dude....you are ou tof your f-in' mind!"
I told him the exact details of our phone conversations, and showed him faxes back to me regarding prices etc.
Salesd!ck: "That's not something we would do...."
Me: "You are an anus. Goodbye." <walked out>

Paint Bubble issue:
Oh that has GOT to BE a warranty issue. We'll take care of that sir...no problem! Bring it by in the morning.
Get there....and one guy starts writing me up, and then some other anus shows up....Long story short, they say nope. They can't handle the paint issue. BUT, "we can wet-sand the doors and fender to see if that does anything." Oh great! SO they want to totally sand it down, and have ME pay to repaint the car! .....<walk away again>

Service dept:
Regular Maintenance:
wrong oil put in....dumbasses. - they even left a bag of crap in my car!

TSB (alignment) Right pull:
Told them ahead of time the car has an upgraded suspension (I said Mopar springs

) They said, "I'm sure we can get that done too." NEGATIVE! BUT...for the grand total of $586 I could have them add on a camber kit....Gee thanks..... <walked away>

Paint a few parts (engine cover and intake tube.):
FYI- I have it all masked off, primed, adhesion promoted, etc etc...basically spray it then walk away.
Talk to the guy(Lynn) last night and he says, "No problem... I've got another Inferno Red coming in to the booth in the morning, I can spray those parts for you. Come on by first thing in the morning." I get there this morning, we talk for a bit about the car show, etc etc...he says no problem, grabs the parts from the back of my car, brings them inside...The painter wants to verify the paint code matches...as we are outside verifying the code, Lynn walks up to me and says, It's gonna run ya' $185.

<insert loooooooong pause here>

<insert loooonger pause due my irritation with anuseseses like this>

I looked at him, and asked if he was serious. Yep!..... After a very brief discussion (mostly talking through my teeth) I walked back inside grabbed my parts, and walked out....As I walked out, I turned to the guy, and said, "Thank you for helping me out, I really appreciate it during this holiday season.... I'm glad you wasted my time. I'll be sure that hundreds know about this place." <Walked out the door.>

SO...The obvious question is, "Why are you even going to that dealer!?" Answer...because it is *right* near my house. From now on, I woon't be going there for anything! In fact, I'll be telling ANYONE that wants to hear about my displeasure in dealing with them. Heck... I've already complained to Dodge about the sales department, AND the service department....

I have the same problem. Autowest Dodge in Fremont, CA are the biggest __holes when it comes to service. I ended up taking my car to Antioch Dodge which is a good 50 miles away (due to my buddy living there, so I visit while its there), and they've been awesome to me.

so you wanted them to paint your engine cover and intake tube for free? Did they agree to that before you brought it in?

Everything else sounds like pure BS, they are anuses (as you put it!)

FREE?!?! NO!!! The guys OFFERED it up because he had another Inferno Red car going into the booth this morning! I figured he charge me SOMETHING...but $185 !?!?!?!?!? He tells me the paint alone is $90 !! (WAY OFF!) and he couldn't tell me this while I was on the phone with him BEFORE I took some time off of work to stop and see him! (bait and switch technique!) Big dirty anus.<---BDA for short! LOL!

Mike, it's divine intervention. It means you must now have Viper Graphix do something cool to your engine cover.

Meet Richard at the show on Sunday, he'll be helping out with the car club putting on the show. Ask his wife, Kim, to get him. She'll be in car show registration..
