    Looks good. I just installed mine two days ago as well.

    Quick question, why didn't you use the hose clamp on the tube support that's bolted to the engine? Do you think it is solid enough without it?

    Do we not need to use that? I have mine on there, but I hate the look. I thought it helped with keeping it firm when you gas it, and it moves somewhat.

    if you want you can also remove the hose replace it with a breather on the engine and seal up the port on the intake



    it would slighlty increase your air flow......

    I tried removing the clamp but when I rev'ed the engine I could see the filter shaking & moving. I figured it was only a matter of time till something broke or came loose driving down the road.
    2006 Magnum R/T AWD - brilliant black
    Current mods
    : K&N CAI, SRT honeycomb grill, in-dash 6-disc changer, black headlights, Borla 112 cat-back, K40 radar detector w/laser diffuser, Viper remote start, front window tint
    Future mods: high flow cat mid-pipes (when they are available for the AWD's), headers, Dynamat the rear, JET Stage 1 (since Superchips doesn't support my PCM yet)

    I wouldn't remove that clamp. It's there for a reason guys. I used it when I had my R/T..............

    No I dont think so becuase that tube moves up and down with the motor esp when you put your foot in that HEMI, and there is a belt right under it that connects with the altenator and I didnt want no bumpin and gridin under ther hood. So i guess its a good thing to install.

    That actually supports the filter as well as the the tube - I'd leave it there.

    Now all you need is a monster filter...
