Florida LX club newsletter......

Nate and I are starting a newsletter for the purpose of fully informing all of our members and potential members about the meets and shows that they may be able to attend........as you have seen, the number of members has grown to almost 60.....some of them are not on the forum enough to catch the details of each individual meet so that they may be able to prepare themselves.....
we thought to solve this dillema, we would email a newsletter informing current meets and/or shows along with a monthly newsletter with perks such as MoM(member of the month and/or mod of the month), birthdays, group news and happenings....etc.....also if anyone else has any happenings and/or news that they would like to inform the group they will have that option as well.
this will basically be an open newsletter to where anyone can give their input.....maybe a member to group newsbulletin......
This is of course still fresh and the main reason for this newsletter is to eliminate any possibilities for any of our members to not be correctly informed......

i would like to hear everyones feed back about this.......we will be sending a newsletter within a few days.....regardless i still want to hear your suggestions for further perks and layouts

by the way i decided to draw up a header, feel free to discuss about that too....also if anyone has some experience with photoshop or any other graphic software feel free to design your own header or group logo

as of right now we are thinking of trimming out the Central and stickin with the Florida LX Club

please give me some constructive criticism!!!!!!!!!!

And so the fun begins.

I will be working on a bit of a test-run of the newsletter to be released in the next day or two. This will cover the meet on the 18th, and will be a test for the newsletter format. More to come!

I like the idea of the newsletter !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All for it.

About the header......................too busy, way too busy.

Need something simple, IMHO.

FINALLY!! I say pull an item out of the knowledgebase (lighting 1.0 for example) and include it in the newsletter. Therefore, those that do NOT get to this board as often as we do, will be able to check out easy /simple things that he/she can do....

Oh, for the unaware...Matt and I have a little friendly competition going here... Neither one of us cared for the other's design..rofl! So we figured the group should have some input, and be able to make thier own submissions as well.

Matt, I have a feeling though that we're gonna be outdone by somebody else in the group...LoL
