    Disappointed with Race Rock Meet

Just wanted to say I was disappointed with the get together. I didn't get there until 5:30, but expected to see the group there. If you all met at 3:00, you didn't stay long. I was in Clearwater Friday to have my stitches removed, drove back home (Ocala) Saturday AM, then drove over to Orlando. There were only about six cars left by 6:00pm. What Happened?
300 (SRT) front, MSRT rear bumper, shaved rear wiper, 402 rear spoiler, RK/Sport raised hood, Grip grille, Boss 304 18" wheels, 245/55 BF Goodrich tires, painted coolant tank (402), painted engine cover and ABS cover, LED tail lights and side markers, LED lighting in engine bay, MagnaFlow High Flow Cats & exhaust, Vortech V-3 S/C, Vortech Predator tuned, 180 Tstat, X-treme Duty Radiator, Billet/Tech engine dress up, B/T oil catch can, Painted radiator cover! A big Thanks to Rod Burton who did the conversion & S/C install.

Aww, that sucks you missed the better part of the meet! :(

I think everybody started rolling out just before you got there. They were either headed home or off to another show on the other side of town that got announced literally at the last minute.

At least I got to see you! What's the guy with the nice black car with the ghost flames? He was there with you when I got there. He greets me very time he sees me, but I can't remember his name!

Thanks for the info! I'll be sure to remember Bob's name and his screen name. I agree I too am thankful for the large turnouts and the friendships that are made.

    Steve,

Sorry I missed you at Race Rock, I was on my way there when I saw you on HWY 484 - you were probably on your way home.

Wife and I were the first ones there, we had lunch and some of the others started to show up. We left early, about 4 PM. I was tired and don't like to drive at night. Wasn't much shade there, might have stayed a little longer if we had some.

    See you at Garlit's.

Sorry, we left @ 5:15 to go to a Halloween party almost 2 hours away. We made it to the party, but missed all the food. But I'm glad we came to Race Rock, it was fun to see everyone. Sorry we didn't get to see you OcalaHemi!

Like you said, there will be other meets! After buying my Magnum and joining the LX Club, I look forward to getting together with everyone. I got to say I was hurting pretty good after the ride from Clearwater then to Orlando, but it was still worth the trip. I am doing good as far as my surgery goes. Feeling better every day. Yes I will be at the Ocala show!
