Shaker Hood and Superchip...look out cobras...old ones. Mine has 20,000 miles and only some paint wear on the lower hood from the shaking. I put a Red K&N cover over my K&N filter just in case a little water gets through....no problems even in heavy spry washes. Good luck. Painted my ring same color. See if you notice a ram effect after 80 mph? I did at the track.

I didn't have much fear of cutting the hood, measure everything twice and cut once.
Kit comes with a good template, I did a lot of measuring and double checking.
So far, so good.

Will paint the parts tonight and finish the install tomorow, had to take time out to install the Flashpaq tuning..............

If you can't see the photos at the Yahoo site, you may have to join the group first, or belong to Yahoo.
As for SXT's, I think the CDC Shaker Hood kit only fits the Hemi's.

Shaker Hood kit is all installed now, had a few minor problems, broke off a mounting stud. Then broke off a tap in the hole I drilled to fix the stud, oh well. It is fixed temporarily, will use longer studs to raise the scoop up a bit when I get time.
Car is running like %#%$@, have a bad off idle stumble, now the Check Engine Light is on. AM going to download stock programming with the Superchips Flashpaq to see if the trouble goes away. Can't see how the shaker hood could cause a problem with the engine. Car runs great if you floor it, but on normal take off, engine is stumbling and missing.
