    Why I wasn't at E-Town.......

    Hey everybody, I wasn't able to attend since my family was long overdue some 'quality time'. I figured I'd share a few pics of our latest outdoor adventure. We try to hike as much as we can during the spring and summer months, but I really enjoy the fall and winter since the scenery is so much nicer. These are from Bear Mountain in Harriman State Park. Hope ya'll enjoy.

    Great pictures,Nice looking Family you have John.Thats 7 Lakes drive right,i've camped there alot,and well got kicked out to for,well camping LOL.Looks like the same area,just Before the end of the drive the lake on the left.

    John, I think you made the right call! That looks like a beautiful trip. Tell Amanda I think she looks like a snow Princess with her icicle wand and fuzzy pink crown...

    You all look great, and so does that place. Those colors are fantastic!

    Thanks, Steve. Seven Lakes Drive is a few exits before the Perkins Tower/ Bear Mountain exit on the Palisades. You must be thinking of Lake Tiorati...I believe that's the last one. We go up there a lot!

    John, good call man. Looks like you have the perfect family of four right there with the scenery to match.

    I give you credit for making that call. With the good fall weather arriving so late this year it seems like every weekend has been a mad dash to the track. Easy to loose sight on what is really important, the family.

    Nice John... I've done those hikes too. In fact I'm about 5 miles or so from Bear Mountain.

    Did you hike up to the tower? Or did you go past Doodle town?


    Me thinks we should organize an LX Hike and picnic next spring...
