have fun boys...sure wish I could make this one.... I like the setup....should be very interesting...make sure you lift a little on that first run in the morning, since that should be your quickest qualifier. They say only first round will be set up that way... wonder if you have to dial-in yourself after that. Guess you'll find out tomorrow...good luck and bring home the trophies.

Man. . . . .wrapped up getting ready a short while ago. . . . . .tired but psyched.
Great day of racing. Attendance overall was light though there was a decent showing for this event. I'd say there were 40+ cars initially in the field and a pretty good mix
of the Big Three.
Bill, George and I represented for the Forum with another member in a yellow Daytona and the NYC Mopar crew was there as well. We actually got three time trials and ended up making it to the semi final (almost didn't happen due to some issues with mgmt but I'll hold off on that as it was resolved). I wanted to kick myself for redlighting with a .009!!!!!!!
Qualified #2 and took out the #1 qualifier (monster low 9 second Procharger blown Camaro . .nice guy BTW).
Haven't driven the car in awhile so I was not happy when I got in this morning and saw the car had a FULL tank of gas. . . .like past the full mark. . . .DAMN!!!!!
No race gas today so I had to run my street tune as the car was still on Full when I got to the track. Still managed an 11.28 while letting off the gas for fear of breaking out.
Also put the car on the scale and with the full tank of gas and full interior she was 4350 with me in it (I am 170).
I'm ready for VA. . . . . . . . .tick tock!!!!!!
Weather was great and had a great time hanging out with the boys.
Oh . . . and BIG Thanks to Josh and HHP for the $250 labor certificate. .. . . .prize for quickest modern Mopar.
^^ Yup it was a great time Juan! Congrats on the prize! And it was great to see everyone who made it!

Well to sum it up in short, You know how they always say don't come back to the staging lanes till we call you....They weren't doing it that way today and most of the mopar guys left after 2 rounds didn't realize it, Including me and Juan. By the time I said "let's go down to the lanes" They were about to run the final, We were out. But Mike Napp who was in the final with his mustang fixed the problem and we had to hurry and race each other to see who would get fitted in to the new semi finals and well I guess it was better then total disq. After the kaos I got smoked on the tree by Big Frank in his challenger.
Wow.....that sucks.
DA was high, 1,200+-1,500+ My best run was 11.52@116, Nothing like not needing your new rollbar!![]()
