Proposed Monthly GTG for New England

Due to the turn out we had last week with only 2 days planning,I feel that it's time to organize a monthly GTG.I will throw out a proposal that we schedule for the first Sunday of the Month @ Kelly's Roast Beef on route ! (southbound) in Saugus,Ma.;Plenty of area to park and also showcase our cars where it's a high traffic area.Fuddruckers, down the road, has a Clasic Cruise Night every Thursday @ 7PM,so the area is used to meet & Greet's.I have received several PM's from folks who want to be informed as to when the next one is,so we might as well start up a Monthly GTG & go from there.

All those interested should post their views & opinions so we can get it off the ground. Also,if the interest is high enough,we might be able to organize another Monthly ( perhaps 3 rd Sunday) in a different local location so as to open up our area.
Don't just wait for an opportunity to get together to come about, let's all of us work together to make it happen.

what days are you looking to hold this event once a month???i'm interested and i'm sure the guys at the chargerforums would be too...we've been trying to get something going...my only issues are on sundays...i can only meet after 3pm....sat's are ideal for me...i live in east boston, so it's not far at all...
keep posted on meet and it would be nice to have a forum vendor there as well....although tbyrne is somewhat far from the northshore...

If we want to include LX's in the NJ, CT, PA, MA, NY area (yes I know a few are not in N.E. technically) Long Island seem like the probable area. From 95, 91, and other interstates I guess. There are alot of parks/places that are easy to get to, plus its basically between MA and NJ. Unfortunatly it would be tricky for PA. I don't have any other ideas but I figured geographically it may work ok. What about CT? I dunno.

Seems like everytime I look there is something going on in NY or NJ but nothing up here in MA. Wouldn't mind staying local or localer! I know, a stick in the mud, but I really dont have the time to get down to NY for a day.

Oh don't get me wrong! I do drive it like I stole it every time!

The OCC GTG that I set up is very easy to get to from any part of the North East and a cool place to visit.
Danbury to Hartford area looks like a good central location too!
