PINKS - All out coming to E-Town in 2008?

There is a notice mentioning info to follow shortly with a sign up sheet on the E-Town website?

Would this be a great idea for a meet or what?

This would rule

Signups will be handled by the RACEWAY PARK Office via Email starting January 7, 2008. Any entries received prior to 01/07/08 will be deleted. E-Mail address to be listed on website in January. Only entries to this special email account will be accepted. Please check back for more information in the coming weeks.

Soimeone would have to be brain dead to go on pinks.

I don't like the idea of the moderater making forced concessions on the contestants.

A cagey sandbagger could clean up.

The all out show is heads up. No bargaining nonsense. All about money, not racing for the actual cars. I agree about the regular show. Way too easy for a dishonest racer to clean up.

It'll be PACKED. I can't imagine Pinks at Englishtown with the amount of cars we have here in the Northeast. I would so go, 400+ cars over like 5-6 hours means a crapload of photo's for me. I believe you make 1 pass as your qualifier to see what class your in (9,10,10.5, etc). From there they choose the best class to run a class of 16 and then from there it's 8, 4, and 2 in the Finals.

The two 300C SRT8's we had at the frozen balls shootout could have a chance to be in the show but most of the time they choose anywhere between 9 and 10 sec classes.

....curious to see this... I will definitely go.....gotta Inform Anthony (aka ProTorque Guy)....his Camaro is a low 8's car but I'm sure he could detune it for this...the guy is a great racer

I am curious as well how they will work out the logistics and it will probably end up in a 10.xx second class for the, "sweet sixteen".

So I spoke with Anthony about this...and he says that there's enough 8.5 sec cars around this area that will def make a show for pinks all out....and lots of them are already aware...anyway he wants to do it...should be a good show
