Meet and Greet in Buffalo, NY?

Since I am a new owner of a 2006 Magnum SE with 17k miles, I was wondering if there are enough LX owners (Magnums, 300s and Chargers) who might be interested in a informal gathering sometime this summer.

I am a friend of the owner of the Buffalo Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum in Buffalo (pierce-arrow.com) and I thought about organizing an event at the museum. I did this with a PT Cruiser group and we had about 30 PTs meet at the museum, get a tour and then went to Zebs for lunch.

There's plenty to do if we can plan something ahead of time and if there is enough interest. Please post your thoughts and let's see what we can do!

If enough people commit to attending I would be willing to drive in from Rochester. I have never attended a Meet & Greet and I think it would be fun.

I'd love to attend. And especially at the Pierce Arrow museum. I have a buddy with one of those -- pretty amazing cars. He is a ford guy though - so we can't invite him (even though he has the oldest family owned ford in the world--perfect running shape used by Ford in their Centennial, bought by his grandfather from CCM on Yonge St. in Toronto in 1902).

I'm sure the owner of the Pierce Arrow Museum would love to speak with your buddy. They are always interested in vintage/classic car owners and their story.

I will check with the owners about some dates maybe August to see if we can do something.

As far as a Canadian contingent, we had about 12-15 PTs come down from the GTA for a gathering at the museum a couple years back. They had a blast convoying down and did some shopping to boot!

I grew up in Toronto, I'm used to that! Last time I watched the Toronto Make Beliefs regularly, Henderson was the only one wearing a helmet.

I'm trying to arrange something of a discount for the Pierce Arrow Museum tour and the cutoff is 30 people...we should be able to round up that many LX owners and their families/friends, right?

I figure a weekend in August would give everyone time to plan ahead.

We can also create a convoy to somewhere to eat after the tour or head to a park for a BBQ.

Let's start something that we can build like Cruise the Falls for the PT owners!

    Thoughts?

    Bump...

Shall I assume this is a dead issue and there is no interest?

It will take an effort to make arrangements for an August event so if I don't have the interest, I'll drop it....anyone?

I'm still up for it, depending on what day...

I can't make it the weekend of www.moparfest.com (August 19, 20) as I'll be there, but some time in July / early August, would work for me.

Make a list, pick a date and see how it fits for everyone.
