Mass : Great service at Lou's Custom Exhaust

This is my experience with Lou's Custom Exhaust in Plymouth MA.

Took my 05 Magnum R/T in for some exhaust work back in Jan of 09. Got a great deal on a cat back system. Work time was about an hour and they started right on schedule.

After a few weeks of driving I was not happy at all with the sound. I have little knowledge of exhaust systems but I knew something wasn't right. It had a very loud drone and after 45 min of driving, myself and passengers would get a headache.

I took it back in, went for a ride with the install tech and he agreed. I am not sure what muffler he had installed but he scheduled me to come in replace them with a different type. He stated sometimes certain mufflers just don't sound good on certain cars. He replaced them with Magnaflows (I believe 40's.) They sound GREAT, very little drone and I have received a lot of compliments. I like how it gives my Magnum a little more growl, but I wont be pissing off the neighbors every time I leave.

After about 2 months I start getting a very loud rattle that would last for 2-3 seconds when starting in 1st or reverse. Brought it back in. They brought me under the lift and showed me the connection before the pipes reach the cats was loose on one side. They said it was factory equipment and not their fault. He then proceeded to put a few welds on the pipe to solve the problem. Best of all, the tech said since it was only a few minutes of his time and that I had issues before, he would take care of it no problem. He also stated if it happens again or anything similar to come back in and he would take care of me.

They have a customer for life. Never any hassle, amazing price and great follow up service. Entire staff was friendly and very enthusiastic about their work.
