Long Island, NY custom shops

Hey, I couldn't help but notice that there are a lot of long island magnum/charger/300 owners on here. I was wondering if anybody knew of some good custom/speed shops here on the island. I'm primarily looking for a good shop to install lowering springs and install/color match a body kit.

I've used Tone's Tunes in Smithtown a few times with very nice results.

I used classic auto sound on Vets Hwy in Bohemia. They're primarily a sound shop but does great jobs on tints. None of that "turn purple" crapola stuff.

Route 110 in Farmingdale....Just North of the Southern State...Probably would get treated well if you say my name, or mention my car....they seem to love my magnum there or maybe just my money :grin:

Has anyone done motor work on LI. I have a set of Gibson Shorty headers wanting for install. Just find a good installer with a reasonable price is tough. Any Suggestions???

My cat-back and springs were done through Merrick Dodge....I only did that in order to maintain warranty (by them not being able to say, "Your brakes failed, must have been that install job on the cat-back") :grin:

I gpot the timts on my trailblazer odne at car tunes, I was not impressed, they used a very crappy tint and the pasenegr side peeled off......

One of the guys are car tunres told me that they dont have the same tiniting guys there all the time..
