    Hemi/SRT8 tuning software available....

Howdy... just wanted to find out what kinds of mods you guys are making and what kind of tuning you require. I currently have the tuning software for the SRT8 and Hemi cars and am trying to learn what you guys are doing. I have mostly a Ford tuning background.

I am currently working on a built AWD 300C. Has a built bottom end, 6.0 liter heads and intake, custom cam and a Novi 1000 supercharger. So far we are at 340hp and 430lb tq on a Mustang Dyno at 4000rpm. Haven't pulled it higher yet.

Let me know what you guys are up to....

Thats one hell of a question. "a lot" or "everything" are both pretty much straight answers.
    • Superchargers (9th injector and 8 big injectors; someone has a roots charger out there. Look at GS Motorsports and Arizona Marine as a couple vendors in this field.
    • Turbochargers. Two vendors I know of and I've heard rumors of a twin turbo out there.
    • heads/cams... basically zillions of variations of bolt-ons.
    • short and long blocks. Everything forged, bored, stroked etc.
    • The usual run of intake and exhaust mods. Midpipes, catbacks
What did I miss? Specifics of the solution varies by vendor. We had 10 motors blow in one recent weekend due to bad use of new tuning software so figure its something a lot of people are looking at; including pretty much all of the vendors selling the stuff above.

Any ideas what led to the engines blowing up? I have been having problems with the throttle hanging open at the end of a pull....

never heard of that problem, but I'm not a dyno tuner so for all I know some sort of lag is normal.

The Weekend of Death came from guys who had just gotten their hands on their Diablo tuners and then desensitizing or turning off the knock sensors. The revision that Diablo came out with just today (?) addresses this by deleting that feature. It also was due to guys who have heads/cam setups using the stock Diablo performance tunes rather than springing for a CMR session. Which meant they were running leaner than they should be. Add one to the other and boom.
