    Got first speeding ticket

    Whoo hoo!!!!

    So guys, thought i'd check in from alll the months of hell I been going through, BUT, thought you would all get a kick out of my latest story.

    Had to run down to Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa and back. So on the way down running late. middle of the night, Valentine 1 on, crusing about 80 most times.

    Going through Virginia, right near Petersburg Cop nails me on a curve downhill with INSTANT ON! ARRHHHHH

    So no chance to even give an excuse reason etc. license and registration please, walks away, comes back and hands me a 82 in a 65 PLUS Automatic Reckless driving for being OVER 80, WTF??

    Makes me SIGN THE TICKET, Ok, I signed it, WILLY WONKA!!! Will that hold up in court? lol

    So the dumb bitch says have a nice night and be safe, I said I will and I WONT. Peeled the tires to show her what reckless really is, and took off. I honestly expected the Lardass to come back and pull me over again, but she didnt.

    So after 36 pull overs, I got a speeding ticket.


    By the way I average, 29.7 MPG with over 2,800 miles of driving. WHOO HOO.

    And some people swear by radar detectors thinking they'll never get a ticket with them. Just goes to show even the best radar detectors won't keep you out of a ticket.

    At least you were mature about it.

    Actually guys, yea I do swear by it, saved me at least 50 times, however, this ONE time, late at night in a curve on an unknown road, and a little sleepy, is what got me, I had only a second or two to react, it was inevitable.

    BTW, the rest of the trip, I opened quite a few times. Figured I got the ticket, no problem after that. Esepcially Jacksonville, I hit 130 on that stretch of road which was totally empty for miles. Loved hearing the HEMI roar. tee hee.

    Hey, in VA she could have cited ya for the radar detector too, they're illegal in that state.

    I already knew that and threw it under the seat before I fully stopped.

    Always driven from NC to NJ and back again. Va is the worse and also NJ is the worse!
    I got nabbed last year with one of those instant on radar units in VA! Had to hire a lawyer to fight it to a lesser charge! a&&h$l$s
