    Post Good reilable Dealership?

As previously discussed on the boards, some people have no problems with their service departments in the dealership regarding getting proper services done by competent people. Whereas many others are stuck with poorly run service centers.

I was wondering if people are able to share with us good dealerships that have exhibited excellent professionalism and are easy to deal with.

Mainly pertaining to doing warranty work, how receptive they are to different mods on the car, and if we come in and ask to get certain software flashed, they don’t throw a fit. I am not talking about them doing blind software updates, merely asking for them to address already existing problems and not come back with, "we are not able to reproduce the problem."

I am more concerned about dealership in the Washington DC Metro area. But I am guessing that if we list other dealerships that pertain to the NE region that it will be helpful to everyone.

One contribution I will make to this thread is that do not hope to get anything done right at Montrose Dodge in Germantown, MD. This place is to be avoided for service related questions. Their sales staff is decent and there is a good deal to be had if you know what you are doing but anything relating to service, forget about it. Take care everyone. Hopefully we can compile a nice little list that will be helpful to everyone.

    Thanks

avoid Tronacalli Dodge in Cumming GA, for sales or service. If it's on the lot, they'll gladly sell it to you for retail or better, but will never go out of their way to help further. They lost a customer and an easy $5K-6K profit when they didn't work with/for me. I got my RT in 4 days, when they could have easily gotten the same car 18-19 weeks earlier and charged me more for it.
Service? forget it, they were insistant that the 'MoPar 10w30' is the best oil for my RT and wouldn't even think of installing my Borla/Mopar catback that I'd just bought from their parts guys.

Big-O in Greenville, SC - two thumbs up, Sales AND Service - I paid a buttload less for the same car that Troncalli could have traded for. Service crew there is experienced, caring and knowledgable - and they WOULD have installed the Borla catback, I asked...

Carlin Dodge, Colorado Springs, CO - Sales ignored me for the 3 hours I was waiting for my TSB A/C update to be done - and service never checked the A/C, so we continued having A/C freezeups for the rest of the trip. Big-O found it a half-lb shy of stuff, and it's worked perfectly ever since. Carlin never went out of their way once bit to help a Dodge owner on vacation with car problems. Thumbs down.

I have been more than happy with my dealer, Bangor Dodge, Bangor ,Maine. Couldn't ask for better people. Never had any problem with any of my mods, rather excited to see what Ive done. They have never had a SRT8 Magnum on the lot, however. I would be weak to resist one.
