I never pull up to run unless I get to the right temps, thats probably the only thing you have control over all the other things track prep and weather and stuff you don't.
But the question is not how good the 60 ft times are its how can 1.78 60ft times produce better results that 1.68 60 ft times with everthing else being the same.
I don't think its all in the upper end because the 1/10 difference is already gone by the 1/8 mile
Who knows, anyways that engine is gone and buried and another one will be going in hopefully in around a week
Based at looking at a lot of my time slips, I'd saying improving your 60' by 1 tenth will give you about .15 seconds. I'd say a converter is a good for 1-2 tenths on your 60'. So converter alone should be good for .15-.30 in the 1/4. I haven't run my current setup on street tires yet but I estimate that since my 60' is only about a tenth better on DRs that I only picked up 1-2 tenths.
