Dyno in Long Island baby!!!!!!

Hey Everyone-

Just got back from Speed World.com in Baldwin, LI where I put on my blastin Bobs pipes and rolling my fenders from my huge 10.5" wheels in the rear and what do I see???!?!!? Some funny looking wheels in ground???? I figure maybe they now do inspections?? But to my surprise they have put in a Dyno machine!!! THey told me they had done a Charger bone stock and then after they did Borla exhaust and Filter charger it was bananas!!!!! They also told me they did a Jeep SRT8 and they told me it was a monster! I can't wait to see my numbers....I gotta start putting away for the Supercharger. When I left they were getting ready to put a G35 coupe on the Dyno that they just supercharged.

Yeah....the only other place that I knew of was in NJ as well.... Good thing this one isn't too far into Long Island and not too far out to NJ.

You gotta give them a call 516-771-2525....Jimmy or Mark .They do some packages and also do group discounts for clubs....maybe we should get something together...Good thing is that right now they are closed on Sundays but they open if they have enough people for Dyno Days.

That's excellent. I live in baldwin about 5 minutes from there, so it'll be a quick tow if I ever blow it up on the dyno. It looks like I'm gonna have to get some before and after superchips numbers. Not like it hasn't been done before but it'll be fun.

Next time you go let me know...maybe we can have a mini meet and greet there....I spoke with them again and they told me that they will have a car show in May where they will rent out the parking lot across the street for the LIRR so that they can put all the cars there and then use the space in the front of the shop for Dyno runs....sounds like a good show to me..

Im thinking maybe sometime between April 12-16 (shooting for Friday the 14th, since Im somewhat busy on the 12th and 13th, then the 15th I believe Im going to Etown), but Il let you know

There are other Dynos on the Island guys. Lizzard has one at there shop as well as 2-3 others out east. My friend who now has the shop where Lizzard used to be told me the other day he will have one by summer. I know there will be discounts for forum members when he gets it installed.

I just stopped by Speedworld this afternoon and asked about the dyno. Someone asked about price. It's $73 for 3 pulls. It's $93 for 3 pulls if you want them to use a wideband O2 sensor for your Air/Fuel readings.
