I spent a week or so wandering around that neck of the woods last summer, I'm not sure they were allowed to sell LX's there, I didn't see more than a couple.
I can't think of much of anything other than the mall - there might be some touristy stuff downtown though.

I lived in the South-West side of Syracuse and in Oswego (Bundyville) for like 25 years or so, and I agree that most folks don't have a clue on RWD cars anymore. FWD does indeed go better in the snow, and AWD/4WD drivers seemed to crash more. At least on 481 from Oswego to I81 anyway.
Good snow tires on an RWD and you are just-as-good to go in my opinion...

I'm a bout 3 hours Northeast of Syracuse, Massena, NY.
I would like to see some LX activity started in the North country.
Lots of LXs in the Syracuse, Utica,Rochester, Watertown area as well as points further out.
Perhaps a M&G next summer W/some drag racing @ Cicero?
I LOVE to see that happen! Depends on the timing, like when will the snow be gone long enough for Cicero to be open? I'm thinking on wandering the NorthEast in May and that would be pretty cool. My oldest daughter lives in Central Square, so a place to stay is covered already! Got a buddy in Baldwinsville who has a Corvette that he thinks is faster than my RT. (1970 L48, 350,4-speed) Time to go head to head and see!! (Maybe stop at Erik's first and make sure?!!)
Got told at work I had to burn some vacation (why can't they PAY me for it??) so I scheduled May off.

Back from Orwell / Pulaski. Not much snow at all, lots of sand and salt on the roads. Lights on the Lake display was great and the Zoo was real good for my 8 year old. The Carousel mall is jacked, under constuction for the next 2-3 years no parking spots due to construction they shuttle you in on buses, What's up with that at x-mas time. I avoided the mall not worth the trouble. 4 hours driving out 270 miles w/ 1 stop and 3 1/2s driving back today w/ 2 stops. NY State police no problem Mass state police nailed me w/ radar going down the mountain from Blandford on the Pike but didn't pull me over. I wasn't going to fast at that point. You know so close to home.

hello all from the north. I just moved to Oswego myself and i came when there was about 6 inches all over and i drove straight through in my 20's.
The only problem i had was going up hills but i still managed. Only downfall is that i like maintaining my car clean but with this non stop snow it seems that wont be happening for a while. I went to the lights of the lakes yesterday and it was pretty cool. way better than anything bak in MD. Anyways i hope to meet up with some lx'ers up here someday. So to all have a fun winter.
Oh Yeah!!
Saw a nice white charger w/ hid lighting over by the Hollywood Theater last Friday afternoon. Made a u-turn but he already took off. Whats up with this, the Red Lobster is now a Denny's. I ended up at Applebees Fresno's was packed! We have an Aarons going into Fulton soon. Watch out RTO here we come.
