nick_danger's Guide to Installing LED Halos in 300C v.1.0 in HD!

I was waiting to get more footage of the car with the halos at night, but each night in the past week or so has been busy or raining. Eventually I will repost this with some more footage and clean up some of the edits. When that happens, I will simply modify this post and video to v.2.0 and none will be the wiser.

I was just tired of waiting and lots of folks have been asking for this.

(make sure to select the HD version)

Sorry, the video still hasn't processed enough so the HD version may be another half hour or so. Trust me, you don't want to watch it in standard Youtube quality! *BARF*

    EDIT: HD is ready.

The HD version is now ready! Also, I realize some of the images go by fast. I made it that way so the video isn't so huge, but just pause it to see more detail.

Tossing an old thread back up.. I'm installing my Flashteks today and realized there were no instructions.. I have drilled the holes in my housings and want to attach the Halos to the housings before I paint them. The kit came with two tubes of epoxy, I'm assuming it works just like JB Weld, mix equal parts and apply.. I just want to verify this before I get too far along..

    TIA!

I didn't use epoxy (I probably should have) but I'm sure it will work fine. Can't wait to see it!

Usually epoxy are mixed in equal parts, I think you can't go wrong with that. And DO use the epoxy, my rings fell from its place after some hours on the sun, kind like the double sided tape melted

Yeah, definitely DO NOT trust the double-sided tape! I just used a thin layer of the same silicon I used to re-seal the housings. We'll see how long that lasts... :|

Brining this thread back to find out how well the silicone held up. If there was no need to crack them open after 2 years then SILICONE it is.
