This ones for you Hazman.
At the Angelo's M&G today, I told Hazman I wanted blue dash lights, but the dash is sealed. So here's my mod.
I went to the local Window Tinting Shop and picked up a piece of the blue'st film they had. Removed the dash and this is what follows:
OEM Dash
Cut tint some what close to size. Make sure the dash is very clean before you go any farther. Don't forget to cut the hole for the Reset button, a paper punch works good after you mark the spot.
Spray a little soapy water (don't get any in the trip meter reset hole) on the lens. Pull off the clear backing off the tint and carfully slip it over the reset button and onto the lens. Use a squeegie to remove all bubbles and excess water. Move the water away from the reset hole. I set mine in the sun for awhile before reinstalling it. Just like tinting windows, you have to wait for all the bubbles to evaporate. Now here are a few daytime pic's.
Speedo
Dash in the daytime.
In a few hours, I'll add night time pic's with the lights on.

Good luck......
