LX How to: Install Lights when Opening doors OR when Interior light is on

This write-up is the Puddle Lights that I did BUT you can install any lights you like.
This install will allow you to turn any lights on when opening your door or turning on your interior lights.

The puddle lights I bought was one long strand and they say to cross over your drive shaft. I recommend not doing that cause it an melt or rip if you run something over.

First start by selecting where you would like to attach the Puddle Lights to. I went right beside the side skirt.
I attahced using epoxy. (When using this mix small amounts cause it dries very quick) I didnt want to use screws cause it may make my car rust over time.

As you can see from Image 1 I used tape to hold the wire in place and then put the glue on. I also added glue around the lights to the car and to the medal bracket.

Next I ran the wire under the skirt (IMAGE 2) and into the engine bay (IMAGE 3). Your gonna have to fish the wire in from the engine bay. I used a long screw driver then at the bototm i taped the wire and pulled it up.

After getting the wire into the engine bay I put it through the firewall where the hood latch wire is (IMAGE 3 above)

Next I ran the wire under the dash to the passenger side where I added my own fuse. I ran it to the A Pillar (IMAGE 4) and connectd it to the Yellow with White stripe Wire (IMAGE 5)

You can add the ground wire to any part of the car. I added it to where the ground wire of my alarm speaker is (IMAGE 6)
Repeat the wiring for the passenger side. In order to get the wire into the interior of the car from the passenger side, I extended the wire and ran it across the top bar (IMAGE 6) under the rubber.

After that, you may open your doors and enjoy.
It looks really light because I am under the track lights and my cameras flash.
