I have had the new LG phone for about 3 weeks and this phone is perfect for the U Connect system and just a great phone with some really cool features. Model number VX 8100.

Edit: Fixed link to compatibility chart.
I have a new Sprint Samsung A940, It paired with the U-Connect on my Dodge Magnum with no problems.
Uconnect support tells me that they aren't compatible with Samsung even though the phone has the hands-free profile. Anybody other than memory1 had luck getting a samsung phone paired and working? Mine will pair but the audio doesn't come through the speaker (or the phone).
The Blackberry 7100 works with it.

Treo 650 works great!
(Waiting "patiently" for the 300C SRT8 8-speed) Coming.....soon?
My Samsung A940 is also paired and working fine. It just doesn't display battery or signal strength and caller id. There is an occasional false incoming call message too. A firmware update when it comes out hopefully will fix the issues with the things not yet working. Otherwise it voice dials and sounds great.

My V600 works great, but I haven't confirmed the battery indicator.
What I don't see here and would like to know, is does the system and/or any phones support display of the incoming number, e.g. caller ID? While we're at it, text messaging (SMS)?

TREO 650: Caller ID is displayed on the EVIC display. Not sure about T.M. (I don't T.M.)Originally Posted by jaak

Positively not the radio -- radio says "phone" when phone's in use.Originally Posted by jaak

Tried a Motorola V3, it works the same as the V600 I have. So I didn't buy one, in spite of how nice a phone it is.
Also tried the new Blackberry, and it would also show battery, but no message waiting indicator.
Motorola V330 works fine.
