About LinkBacksLX is the body code assigned to the Magnum, 300 and Charger (and any other derivatives) by DaimlerChrysler. For the most part, this is an internal body code.
The Intrepid, Concorde. 300M and LHS were all classified as "LH" vehicles. Much better known are the Jeep classifications. TJ, WJ, KJ...etc.

Now that's something I didn't know, thanks for the info. Does a Charger SRT8 have an LX body? From what little I know, the SRT crew did make some changes to the suspension systems.

I would bet it doesnt matter if its a SRT8 Charger or 300C its still an LX body like SS or WS6 it doesnt matter its still an F body.

I had been wondering as to whether or not the Intrepid is a LX or not and that the Charger replaced it. Thanks for the info.
Mods: Big Bully/Spectre Cold Air Intake; R/T Exhaust;JDM Headlights; SRT Sways; Tinted Windows;Boston Accoustic Speakers and 10" sub, Crunch 500 watt power amp; KW V1 Suspension/Coilovers; Predator Tune; Fog Lights; 71mm TB and lower intake; HoneyComb grille; JBA Headers.

As far back as I remember R/T stands for Road and Track, R&T is an additional package similar to an Options package unsure of the exact options that are included.

Those cars are still designated, by Dodge, as "Charger R/T with Road & Track Package." Go to Dodge.com and type "Road & Track" in the search box. Originally Posted by crucian

When I bought mine, dealer told me that the RT meant Racing Technology. I'm not sure if he actually knew for sure though.

no your both right. R/T has always been road and track. in dodges history it has meant nothing else. my Dakota R/T is a dakota road and track. with the chargers they decided to get redundant or someone in at dc was stupid and forgot R/T was road and track so basicly you guys have a charger Road and track with Road and track package. redundant hunh. lol. The Intrepid was a LH, or as we called it at the plant, Last Hope.
With that said does that mean the LX's must be for:
Lasting Xcitement? Lasting Xctasy???
