About LinkBacksso i got my zoomers cat back system yesterday.... i was so anxious to get it installed i took the day off.... so I'm at a little auto shop waiting when the installer comes in the lobby and says we have a problem,,,, they sent me the wrong kit. its the 2.25" kit for the 5.7. the shop couldn't weld the factory back up so I'm driving around with half a exhaust.... zoomers is being real helpful though they are next day shipping me the right kit tomorrow so i should have it by Saturday... but it is really loud right now.. the hole inside rattles around 2000 rpm

Wonder what they cut that they couldn't un-cut?
And there wasn't any cutting involved when my Zoomers went on if I'm remembering correctly.
You'll appreciate the difference more now that you've run short straight pipes for a bit!

They had to cut some inches behind the
x-pipe for the zoomers to slip on. They could have put it back.
Maybe they are not wanting to incure labor time.MSRT8

ya they cut 6" back from the cross member and they don't weld there that's why they didnt put the stock back on..... it was a brakes, alignment and tire shop.. not really a exhaust shop but i get a discount there they were going to install it for 60-90 bucks they said they had installed other bolt on cat backs so i figured it would be a good deal

well im supposed to get my new kit on sat.. cant wait to have it installed cause the mid pipe only is not cuttin it

I really do like the Zoomers. The sound could not be better. At speed the cabin is quiet and we can talk at a whisper. At start it sounds like a HEMI should. Acceleration commands attention and WOT is nothing short of spectacular. Add a CAI and there is no need to tap the horn to pass
The cabin sound then is true formula racing sound. It will raise goose bumps on you and scare the guy you are passing.
