    Wife driven SRT8 vs. Evo

So Im following my wife home who driving the SRT when a red EVO pulls out. At this point Im kicking myself that Im driving my truck. We have had the car for about 5 months and not once been next to a car worth racing. Anyway back to the story, its a fairly empity road during the day. They stop side by side at a light, and i could by the driver of the EVO he was not going to pass this up. By the sound of his car he is reving around 2k which made me feel good about the start (knowing that a 5k launch is like letting go of a pulled back sling-shot on those cars) The light turns green and they both punch it. SRTs rear jumps sideways with the ESP on and took about a 1/4 car lead and stayed the same until they ran up on a truck. My wife went around the truck and they hit it again. The EVO jump this time about a 1/2 in front before the SRT was in the powerband and neither car was pullng. Very close race. Both cars are very evenly matched.
By the way, I could tell that at the very least he had exhaust sticking out the back. But was never next to him to ask what else was done to it.

Actually I think I read somewhere long time ago that on the track, women actually have a reflex advantage over men.

I think the lack of testosterone causes them to lose tho

My knee jerk reaction... because it's what I would have done... is ESP off before the light, keeping the back end solid, passing him/ the truck and leaving him far enough back that there probably wouldn't be a round two?
