Is the pump in the back just to get enough air to get to the repair station? And the tirefit system what is that??

The pump in the back has GOoo in it to plug the hole to make it to a repair station and fills with air too.
Ask a question get an answer in minutes----Do I need to keep the pump charged on a regular basis?

The No Spare on vehicles with big wheels seems to be the norm now. Most of the perfomance M-Benz & BMW's also axe the spare. There is no doubt they are saving some serious coin by deleting it.
Note - Using the Slime (Goo) may damage the tire pressure sensor. Not sure if warrany would cover that even if you were under the 36K mileage. I just keep a tire repair kit in my MSRT.

The replacement goo canister is like $70.00, I keep a tire plug kit in my car it's cheap $15-20 with a bunch of plugs and won't mess up the sensors. I use the compressor part to top of the tire after repairing the tire.

Just a few notes.
1. The goo, is NOT slime, which is a trademarked thing all its own. As far as I can tell from my research, the goo is actually %100 latex, and I've yet to find a case of it harming the sensors. I know mine was fine, as have been all the other cases I've found, maybe 5-8 of them.
2. Apparently, the Tirefit is an adaptation of a system that Mercedes had Continental develop for them back when they first started selling AMGs with no spare.
3. I balked at spending $80 for a replacement goo my own self, and so went into this. This thread has my findings.

The stock tires, are Goodyear F1 RunFlats, that is why only a pump. No need to change to a spare, you can drive runflats as you would a donut spare,
AFTER you install the Goo & Air up.
HOWEVER if you do not have factory tires, then your screwed, UNLESS the replacement tires are also RunFlats.

Hey George Soros, will you do us all a favor and Die Soon!
No, only the Jeep SRT comes with runflats, the other SRT-8s do NOT. Niether the F1s, nor the RSAs are runflats.

tirefit? you mean tire$**t! mine is in the garage since day one. I have a combination air compressor/ jump starter, AND a full size spare wheel & tire in the trunk. I ain't gonna get stuck with a flat no where, no how!!!!!!!!
