whos traded up?

and why did you do it? was at the dealer today picking up my plates. my salesman was trying to sell me a srt8 300. i told him i needed a magnum for the room. he said "i can get you one of those" :( must.... resist.....

lol no kidding. already have almost 2500 miles on mine though. i asked him what kind of deal i could get on it, hes like, "we will get you a good deal". i told him if i was gonna get an srt8 maybe id trade the TA in on a charger model. hes like, we can do that. sticker on the 300 was 48,000 bucks! 2500 in gas guzzler tax, wtf.

if i can trade mine up plus, say, 5K id do it

if you are lucky... They'll probably give you 28K for the trade, plus 10K for the charger.

I sold my RT Magnum in July after having it for 13 months, then bought a 2005 G35 Infiniti, now have a 05 SRT8 Magnum...

didnt like the g35? i was actually thinking of a G35x. after driving the magnum though, i knew the g35 couldnt match it for the torque :D

the G35 is the best handling car I have ever driven.. but it is small, I needed the wagon, thought I could make it with the G35 but had to go back to a Magnum..

it was tough, I was going to get a Audi S4 AVANT, or a Volvo V70R both over 300HP and all wheel drive with 6 speeds.. but the SRT8 beat them all..

I'll trade up when they put a six speed in the SRT8.I know that if I trade up now they will do it next month(My Luck).

yea i hear that about the g35, which is one of the reasons i was interested in it.

did you drive the S4? that was also on my list, albeit a bit out of my budget :(

i doubt youll see a 6 speed in the magnum any time soon.
