whos got the cheapest snow tires and wheels to fit SRT8?

Well, I've already started to look for a set of snow tires and wheels. Who has a really cheap set that they can tell me about? Brand, style, size, etc... Looks aren't too important. Just looking for a cheap 18" wheel to fit over the SRT calipers and wide enough to hold a 235 tire

    Thanks in advance!

Use the stockers for snow and treat yourself to something nice in the spring! The RSA's (which I assume you got if you're in Michigan) do really well in the snow.

You will not be able to get 18" to fit on your car. The calipers on your SRT will not clear. Maybe you could get another set of SRT rims and put some snow tires on them.
All wheel drive, 420hp, pure American attitude. Would not have it any other way.

TheMightye - There are SOME 18's that will fit. Meister found some and as I recall there was another member that has some that cleared as well, but as a rule you are correct. Just depends how much you want to spend :D

    I use the BSA 264 18" x 8" for my winter wheels ... see here http://www.srt8oc.com/forums/showthr...&highlight=bsa

Not sure if a simple steel wheel has been found yet. (There are some 18" Cragar steels rims that are being used for drag radials, but they won't fit on the front.)

For $158 Tire Rack has the Avon Tech M550 A/S in 245/45/20" Pretty highly rated , way better than RSA's Not snow tires though. If you find some 18" wheels to fit, best snow tires I have had on the RT Magnum are the Dunlop Wintersport M3's. Those are not only great snows they are great tires period! Wear good and you might not want to take them off in the spring!
