Well, I think I am going to have to sell the Magnum SRT8...

What is the # 1 cause of divorce????
    It is not money.....
    It is Marriage....

So, me and the other half are getting a divorce and in the process of splitting assets... We own 5 cars and 4 pieces of properties...

I want to keep the house we live in and not sell it, I have to give my wife half the profit as if I was to sell it.. So I am going to sell my car and give her that money.. I will wait a few months and buy a Caliber SRt4 or another SRT8.. I still have my 72 Challenger with SRT8 Motor and 6 speed in it...

So, my question is, what are they worth, I have not checked the used market for SRT8's...

It is Black, all options except Kicker
Has Zoomers, RK Sport Hood and K & N CAI..
Sticker was $42,700.. Car is paid for, title in hand
It has 10,200 miles on it..
Anyone have any ideas?? I sold my RT magnum on Ebay but I have seen SRT8's not doing well there..
Thanks, I will post it in the for sale section when I figure out a price

I'll trade you my beat up POS chevy S-10...then you can give it to her

Sorry to hear about the divorce man, there are times the wife and I fight over anything/everything....and I think about this "solution", but in the end I feel the good times are worth the bad

Best of luck on how everything turns out with you and the misses...

I have been toying with trading/selling ours, which sounds like it is identiclely optioned and has 10,070 miles, and the prices are low.....I mean low.......did I mention low??? If the aftermarket doesn't pick up some on these monsters, PCM tuning mostly, I will be selling mine for that loss as well.

Best wishes with the divorce and I hope you can get something for the SRT8.

Problem is he has to come up with half the equity in their house... so the buck won't help much I can't imagine.

He could do that now and just sell the house.

Its a crumby place to be, getting a divorce. Much as I'd like to humor someone in that situation, when a person is going through all the emotional and financial problems associated...

Well, never mind, guess you have to have been there

Best of luck Duglas, keep your chin up, it can happen to anyone. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help.

Sorry I have no idea what the car is worth, but I am hoping in a selfish sort of way, that its worth more than I think!

Sucks, the prices on are gas are going to knock the price down alittle. If you could hold on to it till the gas prices get more steady.
So damn custom, I don't even need a sig!

My nephew bought his Viper that way when it was only 2 years old. Guy & his wife getting divorced, he didn't want her hands on the Viper. They were $60,000+ at the time. Less than 2,000 miles on it & he got it for about $34,000. Sucks to be going thru a divorce I'm sure.

Sorry to hear about the domestic problems, been there it’s no fun. Keep your focus and long term direction, you’ll be fine.
As mentioned don’t go selling things for a dollar and those kinds of shenanigans, it can get nasty if Asset Discoveries are called for by lawyers. Also keep it simple if you can. Think about what you fight for before battling for it; make sure it’s worth it or use it as collateral leverage for something else.
    Best wishes!

I'm sorry to hear about the divorce. Mine was no picnic, but I know I'm better off now. Don't rush it. When you think you might want to sell your SRT8 (God forbid), I'll be more than willing...
