TORRED MSRT8 production numbers -- anyone?

Didn't want to hijack the PLUM CRAZY CHARGER SRT8 thread, so here goes:

how to find out how many '07 TORRED MSRT8s are being produced?

I've seen 2 other owners (here on LXF) and I saw an identical one to mine delivered to the dealer near my house
(but it never went into inventory -- must have been shipped to another dealer or was already purchased).

I've not seen another on the road (tho I have seen one TORRED R/T and one or two TORRED SXTs)

Who's got the inside track????

Some old, old numbers from 300CForums / dated 11/29/2005:

For 2006 production (and not sure if this was the projected number for the 2006 model run, or ????)
It couldn't have been a "current" snapshot because the car wasn't on the market yet.

Color balance: 11/29/2005

Silver: 102 (13.7%) . . . . . . . . . . 102
Red (Inferno red): 164 (22.1%) . . 164
Black: 477 (64.2%) . . . . . . . . . . 477
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Total. . . . . 743 . . . . So, were these the final numbers for 06 production????

Then what about '07, where there are 5 colors (I think):BBlack, Silver, Inferno Red (?), Steel Blue, TorRed

It's my understanding that factory orders or not, the TorRed MSRT8 was very limited production, and was(is) not necessarily available in Canada. Not substantiated but from a very good source.

But I've got one!

Interestingly enough, all the documentation that came with my car, except for the generic-type Owner's Manual, is all in standard measure, not Metric, which by law it must be if destined for a Canadian location.

I've still got to pry all the details out of my dealer buddy, where I purchased mine.

for 2007

BRIGHT SILVER - 211
BRILLIANT BLACK - 396
STEEL BLUE - 113
TORRID RED - 165

885 TOTAL

So, after 2 model years of MSRT8 production,
there are 164 (2006) Inferno Red and 165 (2007) TorRed MSRT8 out there --
very cool to know.

Wow, that makes them a rare bread. I saw one today on my lunch and it was very eye catching. Some satin black 22 inch vipers would set off this color perfectly.

It's things like this, that make me want to keep it even when the Challenger SRT8 comes out.
