Stolen Predator in PA

Couple of questions. My predator was stolen last night in my car. So I am sure someday someone is going to be looking to program there car and cant because my stock program is still in the tuner. So can I tell diablo it’s been stolen and who do I contact? If someone sends it to them to have it reprogrammed will Diablo be able to see it was stolen and send it back to me. Now as for my car it’s programmed so I am good but I know I will have to get a new predator soon so what do I do? I am guessing go to the dealer and have them program my car to stock then program with new predator? Any help would be great guys.

Wow, sorry to hear that, Claude. But, you seem to know what to expect as a result of this on many counts. As far as your car goes. You're right in that if you need it programmed back to stock, you're going to have to go to the dealer and have it done. Since you're planning on replacing your programmer at some point, I would definitely contact Diablo for several reasons. I would give them your VIN number, so that they "may be" able to keep an eye out for it if your unit does indeed come back to them for reprogramming. And, also, they "may be" able to get you a new unit, and original factory programming in a file to send to you, so you don't have to got the dealer route. They would need your VIN for that, too, I believe..

I do not know much about the Predator unit, are they all the same?
Does yours have any scratches or marks that might help us spot it?

Thanks man I am looking everywhere because it will show up at some point. The first thing my wife said was thank god you did not catch him in the act because I still after 40 yrs on this earth have a anger problem when it comes to some things Anyway it was stolen in NE phila if that helps and it looks like new.

How did they steal it? Obviously they broke into the car, but did they take out a window, or something? Did they steal anything else with it?

Just go buy another stock pcm that way you can have your preditor tune in one and stock tune in other one. Only thing is im not sure if you can have 2 pcm with your vin on it.

I left the car unlocked! Got home late after a long day, raining etc. And I just messed up. They opened everything took my change and all. I had the predator out cause I just got new tires and rims and changed the setting for the tire size. Then I went out and noticed my fan kicking on so I had to reset that and the predator in the front pass floor board incase I needed to set the fans again which I do. But in the morning I found the inside messed up. Lucky they did not try to rip the radio or anything out. So overall I was luck. I am just pissed because the guy most likey thought the predeator was a game boy or something.

That sucks! More than likely the person that got into your car doesnt own an LX but like you said everone in your area should keep an eye on Craigs list, pawn shops, and eBay. Anyone in your area got a Starscan that can hook you up?
