    Exclamation SRT8 Brembo caliper replacement

So today as i decided to change my brake pads since iv been getting noise and shaking when i break, i have discovered that the pistons on both the calipers are done for =( now all day iv been looking to find only the front calipers and not the whole set, does anyone have any information on where i can find just the front ones.

also everywhere iv looked i cant seem to find my type of caliper.

Why waste the money on a replacement caliper when you can buy a rebuild kit and do it yourself. It's seems like you already of the skill set to perform the work...just say'in.

2006, 2008. I think tey all basically use the same caliper. I do recall that they had to change out the pistons from one material to another, due to excessive corrosion and the pistons getting hung up and not retracting.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner try calling advanced auto parts and see if they can order the caliper for you I have them out here in colorado but they may not back east. And yes if you were going to rebuild a caliper you would need new pistons those are toast as well as rebuild kits.

i was looking all over for just the pistons and seals but hardly found anything, what i did find was like one piston 70 and i need 4, so i just used the website brakewarehouse.com ordered calipers might as well get something finished and newer.

but thank you all for your help.

Don't replace em'. Rebuild em'. Use quality replacement pistons and seals, otherwise your replacement calipers will be subject to the same corrosion.

Use my guide here. Everything you need to know is in that guide, including where to get the parts from:
