    SRT wheel paint

Want to paint the "SRT" on my wheels to match the red calipers. Can anyone who has done this tell me how or direct me to a thread? ( didn't find with search). Looks like it would be kinda tough to stay inside the lines and make it look good. Thanks

Basically you want to flood it with paint and wipe of the excess.Or you can try to mask the whole thing off which is a PITA.Make sure you scuff it well so the paint will stick.

Take the wheels off. Scratch the area carefully with a pionted file. Paint in the area with paint of choice. I used red touch-up with a brush. No need to mask. Just wipe with a cloth with metal cleaner or similar after it dries for a while.

I was thinking of using a Testor's model paint pen.
I have used these on cars in the past and was very pleased with the results.

Like the chrome. The red really sets it off.

I thought there was a freebie that Dodge was giving that I may have missed...On my 03 Cobra they let us trade the polished alum. for chrome when they came available at a great discount. See, i had a basis for my obvious question.
