SRT TRACK Experience --

I've read about it, and wondered about it. I've wondered if maybe I got such a good deal on my SRT8 that I forfeited it. I never asked my dealer about it.
(and they obviously didn't have a clue, or someone would have pointed it out to me)

Tonight, while looking at my window sticker, under "INTERIOR FEATURES" there it's listed: the 1st ITEM -- SRT TRACK EXPERIENCE.

So, it's not an OPTION -- it comes STANDARD on the SRT8.

Well, someone tell me, how do I activate and partake of the SRT TRACK Experience?

Man, I almost missed the next Texas ones -- next week!

I'm thinking about going Saturday the 18th at Texas Speedway.

Type in SRT Track Experience in Google. Once there you can look around the site and decide which event is nearest to you. GO I've been to 2 of them and you will have a BLAST. You will need the last 8 digits of your Vin#

A lot of us went on July 19 - 22 of this year and it was a great experience. Trust me you will enjoy

A definite hoot. You can take your significant other too for a small fee and they can ride around the track with the instructors for the road course part.

Don't forget to take a video / camera

Most important; do you know how to fully disable traction control. This is essential for the road course.

You'll have blast!

Almost forgot, the one I went on there was an instructor called Claude I think. French Canadian, had an Indy car/IRL seat for a while. He's the duck's nuts. Get a ride with him if you and when you can. Really good.

Man.....What a blast. Any one who can go, should go.

I just found out I have 2 years from date of purchase to use my SRT Track Experience (because I bought my SRT before May 1 this year).

However, anyone who bought after May 1, 2007 only has 1 year to use it.

So I'm gonna wait and see what the 2008 schedule looks like --
they might have the Challenger out at the track by then

, plus they'll have the '08 MAGNUM out too.
