You buy it new or used? We have an "adaptive" PCM that will change with driving habits so you want to pull the PCM fuse#11 in the fuse box under the hood and then drive it like you stole it.

Never heard of any bogging issues. I'd give the dealer a shot to fix it, if it doesn't improve, I'd try a Predator tuner. Best $300 you'll ever spend!

Several of the supporting vendors here carry them. I got mine when they first came out and nobody here had any available at the time. I was able to score one for $325 shipped with the USB cable and the power supply from RPM Outlet.

    BTW, welcome to the forum.

I paid $289 from Tbyrne when they first came out. Not sure that this deal can still be had. That included everything, cable, disc, tuner, power supply.

This is one of those times that filling in all of your profile (ie: location) would greatly benefit those of us answering posts.

If you live in a cold weather state, you're likely losing traction and HAL is cutting the throttle until you regain traction.

Are you holding the ESP button down for 6 full seconds until the car chimes and shows ESP disabled in your EVIC?

With the car off, pull fuse 11 for fifteen seconds.

Replace fuse, restart, and drive HARD to reset your adaptives.

Hold down the ESP button until you hear the chime. Then test the car.

Bought used with 7k miles on it. I just pushed esp button then light comes on. Did not hold it at all. Will try fuse 11 pull and see what happens thanks.

Yep, a simple push only disables ESP partially, the 6 second hold is the "Joy Setting".

I've tried several cai's and different exhausts. This car loses power if not tuned to the cai/exhaust. Get the predator and have it tuned on a dyno after you install that hammer and the zoomers. You could probably find a shop that will sell the predator and dial it in for about $450. Check diablo's site for a cmr tuner near you. I picked up 40 rwhp by having my car dialed in on a dyno with the diablo.

While a tuner is always the best idea, don't believe that the car won't run right without it.

Until about 6 months ago there were no tuners, and a lot of us had done mods with no ill-effects. Especially only on a simple CAI and catback.

Thanks, I ordered one today from hyperformanceauto.com $347, with cables. I hope it does the trick.
