    Spark Plug Deal (OEM replacements)

For those who aren't needing to upgrade and willing to try the Champion version of the OEM SRT8 plugs... you can get a helluva deal right now.

Rockauto has the Champion 7570 (RC12PYP) for $4.78 per plug. Then go to www.Championrebate.com and get a $2 rebate.

These are double platinum tipped, resistored. Heat range is 12, which I guess is supposed to be the same as NGK 5... but who knows. This last part is why I may not go for this deal, because I don't know how the heat ranges between the two companies map out.

But $45 for a full set of 16 platinum plugs is tempting...

Well... the NGK website has a heat range map which says the Champion 11 and 12 is equivalent to NGK 5.

Google search doesn't show many reviews but some guy over on DodgeForum.com seems to like them.

I think you'll be fine. Let me know what you think of them.

I don't remmeber if the NGK box had gap information either but the NGK p/n itself is for a specific gap. Maybe Champion p/n's are the same way and they think it's not necessary to label the box with gap info.

Gap should be about 48 mils (0.048") if you wanna double check them. My NGK's out of the box were 48 to 50 mils.

Unless you are way way off, I would not recommend trying to gap them yourself.
