    Angry Sirius Radio/Dealer Problem

I recently purchased a black Magnum SRT 8 with all three option groups. The Sirius satellite radio goes out approximately every other day. I have spoken with Sirius a number of times and they tell me it is a hardware problem and that hardware problems are the dealer’s responsibility. My dealer (South Bay Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Torrance, CA), who unsuccessfully tried to extort an extra $10,000 out of me when I bought the car, informed me that the radio is not recording a “fault code” and, without a fault code they will not replace the unit, antenna, or whatever else is causing the problem. In other words, according to the South Bay Chrysler Jeep Dodge, tough ^&$(#. Has anybody else had a similar problem?

I told my dealer that I was having an iternittent problem playing MP3s (hanging after finishing a song and forcing me to skip to the next song). They replaced the radio with no problems.

Call Dodge Customer Service and rat out the Dealer. Then, as Magnetic said, "try another Dealer."

Dodge Customer Service (oxymoron) told me I have to go through the dealer. I am in the process of working my way up the food chain there.
