Rare sighting - WHO wazzit in the SRT8 this morning?

Saw my 1st M-SRT8 (Brilliant Black) this morning in Spring on the I45 feeder heading south between Cypresswood and FM 1960 (about 7:45 AM).

Very subtle, but the chrome bumper trim was my indicator.

I pulled alongside and gave the thumbs up.
Got the nod back -- cool dude in the BOSS ride.

My guess might have been Bo -- ???
If not, was it anyone else with TX plates here in LX world?

It was not me..... I was on I-45 South around 11:30am earlier today....

Not me, the SRT8 hasn't made it out of the garage for several days and I haven't had it anywhere close to I-45.

Not I.... I have an aunt in Friendswood, but I haven't been that way in a couple of years.

Wait a minute.... I was under the impression that only 3 MSRT8's were coming to Texas this year. If my math is correct, then I count at least 4 in Texas now. WTF?

Three? Where did you hear that?? TX is a bit big to think that the entire state would only have 3 dealers able to allocate a MSRT8!

However, I think mine may be one of the pilot models - not sure. I did not order the one I ended up purchasing. The dealership received my SRT8 by taking on a bunch of slow movers.

Seem to remember there was a Silver one at a dealer in El Paso, too.

I'm flabbergasted -- that is a tiny, tiny number. I would think Texas is a big enough market for a couple hundred of these babies.

Agreed, but wonder how much of it is orders vs. deliveries. For example, I ordered my Mag SRT8 in early May and still don't even have a build date - been stuck in "D" since August. There may be a whole lot on order due to come to TX,but only 19 delivered so far. Just a thought...
